Summer will be over in just a few weeks and trying to get kids back into a school routine can be difficult. The key to a smooth transition is having a plan with a few basic steps that will ease the back to school blues. Here are some tips for parents and kids alike to get excited about the school year:

Cool new pens, awesome new shoes, and a sweet new backpack are one way to get your kid fired up about going back. Before your shopping extravaganza, sit down with your kid and craft out a list to see what kind of bargains and styles you can find. Many places like Kmart and Sears have great back to school saving tips and coupons to take advantage of so that you can fill up your pencil box without emptying your wallet.
